- Transfer new technologies, products, and manufacturing processes into and out of the organization.
- Conduct research, design, and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment.
- Propose training tools that will improve the performance and skill development of employees.
- Ensure that team metrics and objectives are monitored to ensure that objectives are met.
- Record each stage of the research and development process.
- Conduct RFP reviews, customer visits, and product testing, as well as manage customer relationships.
- Develop and sustain testing protocols for the evaluation of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products.
- Supervise intricate research projects, evaluate outcomes, and formulate recommendations in accordance with discoveries.
- Evaluate the extent of research projects and guarantee that they are completed within the designated timeframe and budget.
- Be present at industry conferences that address research topics that interest you.
