Beata Gromadzka

Beata Gromadzka, a molecular biologist, specializes in recombinant vaccine technology and virus-like particles (VLPs). She graduated from the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology with a major in molecular virology and worked at the Laboratory for Recombinant Vaccines from 2003 to 2015. She defended a Ph.D. in natural science, particularly in biotechnology, with the thesis „Construction and application of virus-like particles (VLPs) to monitor and prevent certain RNA virus infections.” She is the Laureate of the 6th edition of the LIDER program of the NCBR and has led the Bioengineering of Biological Nanostructures Team and served as Project Manager of the „NaNoEXpo system—an innovative technology for the production process of new generation vaccines” since 2016. Beata Gromadzka is an interdisciplinary expert in the biotechnology field, with a particular emphasis on modern molecular diagnostics and next-generation therapeutics. As a young woman she was nominated in 2019 as a Scientis of the Future and in 2023 her company was nominated in a prestigious program as an innovative start-up company. She established the Department of In Vitro Studies at the Institute of Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine in 2020. Author and co-author of numerous scientific papers, as well as more than 30 patents and patent applications.
